Types of Australia Parent Visas
- Parent Visa (Subclass 103)
This visa provides permanent residency in Australia but has a long processing time, which can take up to 30 years. The lower cost of this visa is partly due to the extended processing period.
Conditions:
- At least half of the children must be Australian permanent residents or citizens.
- The sponsor must be at least 18 years old and have resided in Australia for at least two years.

Processing Time: Up to 30 years
- Contributory Parent Visa (Subclass 143)
This visa also offers permanent residency but has a shorter processing time compared to Subclass 103. However, it is more expensive.

Processing Time: Around 12 years
- Temporary Contributory Parent Visa (Subclass 173)
This visa allows parents to reside temporarily (for two years) in Australia. After this period, they can apply for the Subclass 143 visa.

- Aged Parent Visa (Subclass 804)
